NOTE:
Webhooks from Lead Docket in CallRail MUST be added to the integration section in order for the integration to work correctly. If there are multiple companies under the main account, you must add these webhooks to ALL company integrations.
We can only integrate one CallRail account, but we can integrate a CallRail account with multiple companies housed within it.
If you are working with a marketing vendor that houses several companies and only need to integrate with one specific company, you will need the Company ID to pull only those numbers directly into Lead Docket.
CallRail is a software that gives the client a group of numbers to be able to track their marketing sources via phone calls as well as helps track users on the firm's website. CallRail is used to help track Google LSA and Google My Business phone calls and is always recommended so that information can populate in Lead Docket.
New CallRail calls add the following metadata to associated leads:
- If there are UTM fields (source, medium, term, content, campaign) sent from CallRail, it writes to the UTM field in Lead Docket in utm_source=xxx&utm_medium=xxx format
- If there is a keywords field sent from CallRail, it writes to the keywords field in Lead Docket
- If there is ga field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Client ID field in Lead Docket
- If there is gclid field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Click ID field in Lead Docket
- If there is fbclid field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Click ID field in Lead Docket
- If there is campaign field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Campaign field in Lead Docket
- If there is referring url field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Referring URL field in Lead Docket
- If there is landing page url field sent from CallRail, it writes to the Current URL field in Lead Docket

Step 2: Add the CallRail account info to Lead Docket. The account info can be added by going to Manage > Settings and clicking on the Integrations in the top bar. Find the CallRail Account section below and fill out the fields.
Step 3: Add Pre-Call and Post-Call webhooks in CallRail to these URLs. After you have entered the information into the CallRail Account section, you will then navigate to Manage > Phone Numbers.
1. In Manage > Phone Numbers, go to the Other Options dropdown and select Add CallRail
2. You will need the two webhooks at the top of the screen in the blue box. Start with the Pre-Call Webhook. Copy this Webhook and then navigate back to CallRail

4. Go to the Integrations section at the top of the page
5. Find the Webhooks in the Integration Library
6. Paste the Pre-Call Webhook from Lead Docket into the Pre-Call field
7. Paste the Post-Call Webhook from Lead Docket into the Post-Call field
8. Make sure you save the webhooks in CallRail
Step 4: Add the CallRail numbers to Lead Docket’s Phone Numbers section. You can associate each CallRail number with the appropriate marketing and contact sources. Learn more about associating CallRail numbers to Marketing Sources, Contact Sources, Case Types, and Offices.
Note: When you create a lead with a matching phone number within 4 days of a call recording, it is linked to that lead automatically. In addition, the marketing and contact source on the lead will be updated to match the settings on the phone number dialed.
For example, if you get a call from a client who tells you they found you on television but they called on your Adwords number, Lead Docket will associate that call recording and update the marketing source to "Adwords" when the lead is saved. If the caller gives you a different number than they called in on, Lead Docket won't be able to associate the call recording with the lead.
